Lost

Dream

There are good dreams and bad. Dreams that realize our potential, and dreams that can lead to ruin. And then there are dreams lost or forgotten and are found again. This is the story of discovering those dreams.

Lost Dream is the current body of work that I'm focused on. The following are paintings in various stages of progress.

Fight

Club

In 2010 I joined a boxing gym, and as to be expected the fighters are loud, proud and a little

intimidating. However, once you get past the bravado you find they possess something more: honor and humility, and became something of an inspiration.

Photographer buddy Jonathan  was in town to shoot a movie, so we convinced some fighters to do a shoot.

The

Wounded

Series

At some point in our lives we experience a state of overwhelming sadness, anxiety or hopelessness.

In this dark period it’s not easy to see past the pain, especially when you’re hurting and seemingly nothing goes your way. But it’s in the dark times where we can really grow.

Emotional

Being

People experience color as an emotional response. However, each of us respond to a color as a singular experience.

How I see and experience red, blue or a green is unique to me. We may attribute certain emotional characteristics to color: Red is angry, Blue is calm, Green is healthy — or is it? Those same colors could also mean passion, sadness and jealousy.
