The Visa re-design team was 40+ strong with members rolling on and off from various disciplines, and knowledge loss became an issue that needed a quick solution.
The Visa redesign team was40+ strong with members rolling on and off from various disciplines, and knowledge loss became an issue that needed a quick solution.
Established a set of design patterns and components for reuse and consistency across all UX documentation, and used in conjunction with the Visa Library. This 50+ page document was divided into key sections, and the components incorporated into the Library feature of InDesign 6. Key sections included:
- Button, Forms + Tables
- Headings + Text
- Content Modules + Sample Implementation
- Icons + GUI Elements
The UX pattern library simplified on-boarding, and improved knowledge share across all disciplines. In addition:
1) Visa could partake in our own language at design reviews
2) Visa better understood the impact to the timeline and associated costs with new component and page requests
