Hello, I’m Jerry Koepp, Creative Director & Product Designer based in Portland – I create digital products with knowledge and passion.

I'm hands-on problem solver who's successfully led research, strategy and design teams in small start-ups and large enterprises for 20+ years. I compliment my UX skills with a solid track record in brand, marketing and visual communication.

I tackle a broad variety of disciplines in the process of creating meaningful products that make a real difference. This process is simple and straight-forward:

  • People = Exploratory  Combining established and emerging research methods to generate insights.

  • Ideas = Generative  Collaborating and iterating throughout the design process to refine the idea.

  • Purpose = Evaluative  Continually assess value, viability and sustainability to define MVP.

With carefully selected tools, design methods, and skills, I express my vision ranging from product design, to the creation of strategic insights, user experience, and visual design, all while working collaboratively with development teams in agile environments.

My distinctive strategic thinking helps me pinpoint the true problem challenging a business, their products and its services, and then evolve that thinking into true innovations that meet user needs and business objectives.

With my knowledge in design and technology I foster productive teams in an collaborative environment that meets the requirements of creatives and developers alike.

In their words: collaborative, thoughtful, shares, great eye, great skills, creative, smart, team player.
